of course...as usual stayed up 2 watch d match...a great comeback frem newcastle...and thrashed mallorca...wahahahahaah...didn't waste my sleep at all=D...gary speed lost d ball and concedes d goal...sian... so here's d hightlights of d magnificent comeback courtesy of uefa.com...=D
58' ( 0 - 1 ) Correa (Mallorca) scores!
After Speed gives the ball away, Eto'o plays a one-two with Campano before striking the bar with a powerful effort. Correa is quickest to react and tucks away the rebound.
67' ( 1 - 1 ) Bellamy (Newcastle) scores!
Robert's free-kick curls in and is headed goalwards by Shearer, only for it to strike Fernando NiƱo and go wide.
71' ( 2 - 1 ) Shearer (Newcastle) scores! Newcastle in front. Robert's excellent corner to the near-post is thumped in by the former England captain
74' ( 3 - 1 ) Robert (Newcastle) scores!
A low curling free-kick completely deceives Leo Franco and sails straight into the net. A mistake by the goalkeeper
84' ( 4 - 1 ) Bramble (Newcastle) scores!
Robert whips in the resulting free-kick and the young defender leaps to volley into the net. Mallorca's night has turned into a nightmare
The final whistle is blown.
Full time and Newcastle have come back from 1-0 down in this second-half to win by a convincing 4-1. Bellamy, Shearer, Robert and Bramble were the men with the goals in a second half as exciting as the first had been dull. The second leg in Spain looks a tall proposition for Mallorca now.
